Chamaedaphne calyculata 'Dew Drop' | 1 gal. pot

CHACAL03-NA_C
Compact, dense, mound-shaped shrub often spreads to form thickets in bogs and wet areas. Small white flowers that resemble the flowers of another relative, the blueberry, hang along the stems.
Another one of our native ericaceous (Heath Family) favorites! This grows wild here in the nearby Pine Barrens, usually near water, but like its relatives, including native azaleas which grow in similar habitats, its roots grow above the waterline on hummocks. They will not survive submersion. This 1.5 foot spreading plant has a fine texture due to its dainty sprays of small evergreen leaves. Little white bell flowers that resemble the flowers of another relative, the blueberry, hang all along the stems. 1.5 x 3 feet.
