Call or e-mail us. If the order has been sent, we can provide you a tracking number, or track the package for you.

If you have received a partial shipment...

Occasionally we experience crop failures and sometimes plants are sold out. If we feel plant quality is not acceptable, we will not send it. Sometimes there is another crop in the works, so some items may be backordered. Please let us know if you do NOT want items backordered. We do not usually substitute sizes without contacting the customer.

If you have any questions about a charge appearing on your credit card account...

Credit cards are charged when your order is placed. You will see 'RareFind Nursery, Inc.' on your credit card statement.

If you have not received an email confirmation after placing an internet order...

An order confirmation is emailed to the customer when orders are placed. If you did not receive your confirmation please email us at support@rarefindnursery.com or call 732-833-0613. The most common reason for this is an outdated email address in your account.

If you have any questions about our shipping procedures...

We do not ship to AK, CA, HI, OR or WA at this time due to these states' onerous inspection requirements.

Please choose a requested shipping date (week of) at checkout. We normally ship plants going farther away early in the week and those going to closer areas later in the week. We may also ship to arrive on Saturday as FedEx delivers to residences on Saturday at no additional cost.  

We will ship at any time during the year (at our discretion) if you can plant or have suitable storage for plants.

If you have any questions regarding our Shipping Costs...

We charge a flat rate of 25% (30% to states West of the Mississippi River) of your plant order, with a minimum charge of $15.

If you live nearby, or have a large order, consider picking it up in person at the nursery. For large orders going to the NY- NJ-PA metropolitan area, delivery by our truck may be an option. Please call or email to inquire.

Shipping is automatically calculated during checkout. We ship UPS  or FedEx Ground or FedEx Home delivery. If you prefer one or the other please specify at checkout.

What are the advantages of registering?

Online account registration makes shopping safe and easy. An online account allows you to securely store your information, eliminating the need to re-enter your it each time you place an order. You can also log in to check the status of your orders. Additional features include the ability to create wish lists, a list of recently viewed items and more.

Is my order subject to state sales tax?

Only orders shipped to New Jersey addresses are subject to 6.875% state sales tax. Shipping charges are also subject to NJ sales tax for all orders shipped to NJ addresses.

Is it safe to use my credit card online?

Personal information, such as your credit card number, is protected by the latest encryption technology. When your browser is in secure mode, you will notice a "https://" at the beginning of the URL and an unbroken key or lock icon to the left of the address bar (location may vary depending on your browser).
