Details

A strong growing narrow, upright form of Hinoki Cypress. Medium green foliage is similar to C. obtusa ‘Gracilis’, but less “layered” appearing and more dense and twisted. Red stems. Most probably originated from the late Jim Wells who had a nursery in Red Bank, NJ. He had a reputation as a nurseryman par excellence.
