CLETHRA acuminata
|
Description: This is a bigger plant with larger leaves than its cousin C. alnifolia. With an open, upright habit, it might better be described as a small tree than a shrub. It is grown for its beautiful polished cinnamon colored bark, though the flowers are also quite attractive, appearing in showy long white cascading panicles.
