Description: Discovered and introduced by the McGourty's in Connecticut. This form has the darkest purple-black foliage of all forms. A standout in the border, woodland or cottage garden. Foliage to 2 ft. tall and wide, slender, white bottlebrush flower spikes 5 to 6 feet tall in late summer. Looks and does best in light shade in the open woodland. Many customers have reported cimicifuga to be deer-resistant.
