CHAMAECYPARIS obtusa 'Spiralis'
|
Description: A Japanese Hinoki Cypress found in England in 1939. As the name implies, it twists in a spiral on a conical form, and is an upright semi-dwarf with dark green foliage that matures to 3 x 1 feet in 10 years. 'Spiralis' is a good plant to provide sculptural interest in the border garden as long as it is grown in full sun.
