Description: Satiny, heart shaped leaves of this evergreen native emit a spicy fragrance when crushed. Unique "little purplish brown jug" flowers appear beneath the leaves in spring and are quite attractive upon close inspection. Nice groundcover for shade spreading slowly by
rhizomes.
