Description: If you want to push your zone's limits, try 'Survivor'! One of the hardiest camellias, it is a vigorous growing shrub and produces an abundance of single white flowers with a noticeable fragrance in the early autumn. The upright and compact growth makes it an excellent choice for a large specimen or for use as a hedge. Its name stems from the fact that it was the solitary healthy camellia after being exposed to -9°F. Please note: For those in areas where camellias are mariginally hardy (ie Zone 6) we do not advise planting in the fall. | ||||
