ACER palmatum 'Beni shigitatsu sawa'
|
Description: Red-tinged form of 'Shigitatsu sawa' leaves are also more deeply divided and the seven lobes are narrower. Leaf edges are wavy and curve downwards. The striking feature is the strong pink and red marbling over the green background of the leaves. Grows full and bushy, slightly wider than tall. Name translates as "red snipe flying up from a winter swamp".
