Description: This ericaceous native of the southeastern U.S. has leaves covered in a powdery white frosting or "bloom", giving them a silvery-blue appearance. Nodding white bell-like flowers are 3/8" long in clusters during May and June. Fall color is a mixture of reds and oranges, retaining the leaves throughout the winter.
