Hybridized/Introduced By: Egolf
Description: A new introduction from the US National Arboretum for southern lilac-lovers. 'Old Glory' blooms in early spring with fragrant bluish-purple flowers on a plant of rounded habit. Medium bluish-green leaves are resistant to mildew, and the plant was selected for overall resistance to Cercospora blight and Pseudomonas, two disease problems in warmer climates.
