Hybridized/Introduced By: Longwood Gardens Description: This sibling to 'Longwood Valentine' was named at the same time, in 2006 to celebrate their 100th anniversary. The original garden nickname was "Big Shiny" for its larger and very glossy rounded leaves. The plant grows at least as large as 'Longwood Valentine', and like it is very dense and full. Flowers are a bit larger and closer to rose color than 'L. Valentine' and a tad less numerous and the plant is perhaps a degree or two less hardy, but still amoung the most hardy of all camellias. | ||||
