Hybridized/Introduced By: Leach Parentage: ('Russell Harmon' x 'Robin Hood') Description: This is one of the most cold-hardy big-leaf rhododendron hybrids available. Long, somewhat narrow leaves resemble the species calophytum, which is in 'Robin Hood'. Huge flower buds, bigger than golf balls, sit prominantly atop the flowering stems. Many-flowered trusses of light pink flowers with red speckling on the upper lobes open very early in the season. Needs shade to keep the leaves looking good. | ||||
