Hybridized/Introduced By: Thompson Parentage: (yakusimanum X Medusa)
Description: A tasty addition to the garden, 'Cupcake' blooms in early to mid May with abundantly produced apricot pink flowers that age to a blend of deliciously tropical hues. Densely clothed with dark green leaves and tan/bronze indumentum. A low grower, it needs shade and some protection in zone 6b, but has done well in our garden.
