Description: Practically nonexistant in cultivation, this Chinese relative of our native Culver's Root has attractive narrow glossy bullate leaves with a toothed margins. The plant habit is quite different from our native, it is decumbent, traveling across the ground and rooting in as it touches the ground. Blooms in late September and early October here in NJ, the flowers are white, clustered in narrow spikes 3 or 4 inches long, in the axils of the leaves and also at the terminals.
