ROSA glauca
|
Description: Formerly R. rubrifolia, this is a rose grown not for its flowers but for the leaves, which are a lovely purplish-red color dusted with a plummy haze. Pretty bright pink single flowers are an added attraction in May-June, as are the bright red hips in the Fall. Full sun and well-drained soil.
