SISYRINCHIUM 'Suwannee'
|
Description: Way down upon the…. Sorry, couldn’t help it. Truly, it was found on the limestone banks of the Suwannee River in Madison Co., Florida, by Charles Webb. We were given this by a friend in Georgia a few years ago who had no idea what species it was, and we still don’t know. Dense, eight-inch tall grass like clumps are topped with loads of light blue flowers in early May. ‘Suwannee’ does well in both dry sun and wet shade.
