RHEXIA mariana alba
|
Description: An upright native perennial that frequently spreads by rhizomes to form large colonies. The opposite leaves are elongated, three- nerved, with toothed margins. The four petaled, pink to lavender or occasionally white flowers are 1-2 inches in diameter and are produced from June to October in small clusters near the top of the plant. The yellow to orange anthers in the center of the flowers are showy. Best in full sun in moist to normal soil.
