Description: A garden hybrid between the Japanese Painted Fern(A. niponicum
‘Pictum’) and the European Lady Fern (A. felix femina) found by plantsman extraordinaire Nick Nickou in his CT garden.
‘Branford Beauty’ is an upright, clump-forming plant with leaves having purple, silver, and gray suffused through the foliage, and is taller and more delicate than Painted fern.
