Description: The name means “Golden Plate Bird” in Japanese. Canary yellow flowers are 3 inches across in a small neatly cupped bloom. Smaller growing plant with more refined lighter branches and dainty pyramidal habit than most M. acuminata hybrids. Blooms occur when lime green leaves are flushing in spring.
