CORNUS florida 'Jean's Appalachian Snow'
|
Description: Very resistant to powdery mildew, this new dogwood has very large pure white bracts with heavy substance which overlap, making a “snowy” show in May. The tree blooms at an early age. The Tennessee Agricultural Experiment Station released it in 2000. The parentage of this cultivar is unknown, as it was discovered in a field of seedling dogwoods at a nursery in Decherd, TN.
