CAMELLIA handelii

Description: Rare in cultivation, this species has fine textured foliage and compact habit. It buds heavily with loads of small single, but very fragrant white flowers in late winter/early spring. Collected as a cutting Ron in Lang Shan National Park, Guilin, Guangxi, China, in 2000. Dr. Cliff Parks made identification at the collection site. Hardiness has not been tested, but probably Zone 8. 5-6 x 5-6 feet.
