|
Description: Probably a hybrid of sempervirens 'Suffruticosa' and sinica var. insularis, Buxus 'Green Mountain' has become one of the most popular boxwood cultivars. Selected by Sheridan Nurseries of Ontario, Canada for cold- hardiness and overall superiority to other clones. In the National Boxwood trials it was rated at 4 1/2 out of a possible 5, and received ratings of 5/5 when grown in harsh exposed areas at Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morristown NJ. 3 x 3 feet. Zones
