EUPATORIUM altissimum 'Prairie Jewel'
|
Description: The leaves of this striking plant are heavily speckled with cream, or perhaps more correctly, the leaves are white, heavily speckled with green! This foliage variation of an Eastern Great Plains native selected by Ed Rassmussen of The Fragrant Path. Clusters of lovely white flowers adorn this handsome, rugged, pest-free 'Prairie Jewel' that grows 3 feet tall. Do not confuse this with Eupatorium aromaticum 'Joicus Variegated' which is not as nicely variegated and will seed around aggressively.
