CLEMATIS alpina 'Constance'
|
Description: Among the earliest and heaviest blooming varieties. Delicious, semi-double, crimson-pink flowers are borne on slender stalks to six feet long, April thru June, occasionally in summer, later followed by decorative silky seed heads. Great accent plant for growing onto small trees and shrubs, over fences, walls or scrambling over rocks and old stumps. It may also be used as ground cover. Pruning group #1.
