CHELONE glabra
|
Description: The flowers are white, often with a touch of pink, and resemble turtle's heads. Each is about an inch long, arranged in clusters in the axils of the dark green leaves, all along the upright stems. In the wild, this plant grows near water, but will adapt to normal garden conditions as long as not too dry. The plants grow in clumps, and do well in light shade.
