CAMPANULA 'Sarastro'
|
Description: A shorter version of 'Kent Belle' with better branching and a more upright habit. Plants are completely covered in 2.5 inch long, magnificent bell-shaped, grape flowers. They dangle from 18-inch tall stems beginning in early summer and continue through late summer if spent flower stems are removed regularly. The stems are so strong they don't even bend under the weight of all those flowers. A cross between C. punctata and C. trachelium; plants spread by underground rhizomes. Introduced by the Austrian nursery, Sarastro.
