Description: One of the best baptisia species for overall garden worthiness, this spring beacon of sunshine is native from Texas to Missouri. In the wild it grows in dry as well as damp locations. Blooms mid May with its large bright yellow flowers and then later in the season, round marble-size seedpods add additional appeal.
