Description: The charms of this tree can only be truly appreciated in person. A seedling of the cross between 'Shigitasu sawa' and 'Aka shigitasu sawa' it has many of the traits of the parents. The variegated leaves contain green, cream, pink and rose tones, with cream and green predominating. The leaves usually have seven palmate lobes broadly spreading and deeply divided with pink edged serrate leaf margins. Planted in a shady location, this shrubby tree should grow to about 12 feet high and wide, A wonderful addition to any garden.
