Description: Found growing in the wild as a young tree in North Carolina by an appreciative nurseryman. This unique weeping form of the "Winged Elm" has arching branches with the typical corky, winged bark of the species. The original tree now resides at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh. It is now over 50 years old and stands 10’ tall with 10’ spread. Full sun or light shade. Yellow fall color.
