LONICERA reticulata 'Kintzley's Ghost'

Size 8-10" - $25.00

Description: A fantastic woody vine with a rather spooky origin. Originally brought to Colorado by the family of an early horticulturist, Iowa State University Horticulture Professor, William Kintzley. The honeysuckle was found growing on his grave in the 1960s. In June, this deciduous vine blooms with small yellow flowers each backed by a large, round, silvery-white bract. The bracts are retained long after the flowers fade, adding a unique and ornamental attribute through the seasons. Easy to grow, spanning from 8-12 feet in length and 3-5 feet in width, it requires average garden loam and moderate irrigation.
