PARROTIA persica 'Kew's Weeping'
|
Description: Slow growing form, which is truly pendulous unlike some others. The branch structure and overall look is that of a wide spreading weeper and will stay low unless otherwise trained to achieve height. Leaves have a rich reddish purple hue when unfolding. Mature leaves are lustrous medium to dark green. Fall color is a mix of brilliant yellows and oranges, which develop into scarlet and dark purples making it a stellar performer in the fall color depart- ment. An exceptionally rare selection from the famed Kew Gardens.
