SYRINGA vulgaris 'Anne Shiach'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Havemeyer
Description: The lilacs introduced by Theodore Havemeyer in the 1940's are sought by collectors for their opulent loveliness and 'Anne Shiach' is one of this bevy of beauties! Very rare and hard-to-find, it has huge clusters of single purple-red (magenta) flowers. Father Fiala considered it very fine to excellent, and it is the personal favorite of our own Anne at Rarefind.
