ULMUS parvifolia 'Golden Rey'
|
Description: A great medium sized tree with delicate bright yellow foliage all Summer. It, like typical lacebark elms, has good symmetrical form, is fast growing, strong wooded, has great pest-free foliage, and nice flaking bark, creating gray, orange and brown colored patches. This patented selection from Bruce Rey of Oklahoma has a large, wide spreading, dome-shaped habit, somewhat more dense than the typical species, the great exfoliating bark, and uniquely, bright butter yellow foliage which holds up in the heat and does not burn.
