Description: This colorful dwarf weigela is new for 2007. Bert Verthoef of Holland discovered it as a sport on the super-hardy Canadian dwarf, purple-leaved variety 'Tango'. Leaves are wildly colorful with irregular green centers bordered by a very wide cream edge covering about half the leaf surface. A red wash over the leaves turns the white areas pink, especially on the new growth. Plant habit is dense-growing, smaller than 'Tango', and requires little if any pruning. This little beauty is great in mass plantings and containers. As a bonus it also has attractive pink flowers in Spring! You don't have to be an expert gardener to produce this masterpiece.
