BUDDLEJA 'Silver Anniversary'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Peter Moore Parentage: (B. crispa X B. loricata)
Description: A monarch butterfly favorite! This buddleja has intensely silver leaves and highly scented white flowers. The flowers appear to be female only, no viable pollen. A stronger grower than either parent, the silver is more intense. A great contrast plant in the landscape, complementing the perennials in any herbaceous border. A first class foliage plant for the cut flowers- if stems are spliced at the base, it remains fresh in water for 7-10 days. An 'Anniversary' bunch of silver leaves with flowers of blues and pink is a winning combination!
