Description: A green palmatum type with shocking pink-red spring color that holds until summer. Its name derives from the fact that it is stronger growing than the older cultivar Acer palmatum Chishio. It should mature at about 10 -12 feet. Spring color will vary with growing conditions, being more intense in brighter locations. In hot climates, however, the plant benefits from more shade, as the leaves scorch from too much sun. | ||||
