ANDROPOGON glomeratus
|
Description: You've probably seen Bushy Bluestem along sunny roadsides in moist, boggy locations, but it's also terrific in a more cultivated setting. Foliage is bright green in the Summer and turns a copper orange in the Fall. The bushy seed heads of this native warm season grass grow to 4 feet in September, and add unique texture to the fall landscape.
