Description: Large shiny silver leaves are complemented by glowing ruby stems throughout the season, topped with huge, delicious bright yellow flowers from June through October. Cutting propagated from an outstanding seedling grown from seed collected by Harlan Hamernick on an oil well site in Western Oklahoma. Sun loving and is drought tolerant. Fifteen cents from the sale of each plant goes to the Great Plants for the Great Plains group of Nebraska to help fund more plant exploration and breeding.
