HELLEBORUS niger (SOLD OUT)
|
Description: One of the first plants to bloom in Spring. An evergreen perennial, it has shiny, dark green leathery leaves. Each of many flower stalks bears a single 2 to 4 inch white bloom. Native from southern Europe and Asia, they are durable and long lasting plants for partial shade, better under deciduous trees (avoid maples) where they can relish the winter sun. Organic woodland soils are best, top-dressed with an organic mulch like shredded leaves.
