HELENIUM flexuosum (SOLD OUT)
|
Description: Seldom offered by nurseries, this handsome native of the Eastern US likes full sun and moist soil. This plant differs from the more commonly offered Helenium species by the dark-colored raised disk that is surrounded by golden-yellow ray flowers. It’s attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds but NOT deer! Will self-sow if it’s happy, so it’s good for naturalizing.
