Description: A woody, erect, shrubby clematis with finely textured foliage collected from the Daqing Shan Mountains of Inner Mongolia, China. Features clusters of yellow, bell-like flowers on new growth blooming profusely in late summer to fall over glossy, dark green foliage followed by silky seed heads. Collected by Great Plants group in Northern Inner Mongolia. 'Mongolian Gold' tolerates full sun and partial shade, and prefers well- drained soil. 1999 Great Plants for the Great Plains featured plant. | ||||
