CIMICIFUGA SEE ACTAEA 'Black Negligee' (SOLD OUT)
|
Description: Lacy black astilbe-like foliage shrouds the dark stems, setting off the fragrant white flowers which rise to a dramatic 5 feet tall above the clump. Foliage will be darker in more sun. Moist, well-drained, humusy soil is best. Plant is slow growing and long-lived; it takes several years to develop to potential. One of the showiest native woodland perennials that exists. A grouping is lovely in a moist, bright open woods situation.
