Description: A great native perennial that is long lived and looks good all year. Willow-shaped, dark green foliage turns an attractive bright yellow in fall. Grows as an upright clump with short spikes of blue star-like dark lavender-blue 3/4 inch flowers in late Spring. Plant is very similar in appearance to A. tabernaemontana, except it is much more compact and produces darker blue flowers. Reportedly discovered among A. tabernaemontana seedlings in a greenhouse at White Flower Farm.
