RHODODENDRON 'Bedroom Pink'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Schannen Parentage: (dwarf dauricum X mucronulatum 'Cornell Pink')
Description: A bright pink flower on a semi-dwarf growing plant. Prolific bloomer which can be hit by late frosts, but shakes it off and continues blooming. The small leaves are glossy and mostly deciduous. Very twiggy and compact growing. The name is a result of laziness on my part. For years this grew outside my bedroom and I referred to it as “the pink by the bedroom.” When it came time for a name, it was all too easy to just call it “Bedroom Pink.” It fits. Honest!
