Hybridized/Introduced By: Jelena DeBelder Parentage: seedling
Description: A compact and cold-hardy hydrangea from Jelena de Belder of Belgium who was responsible for introducing many new plants to the world of horticulture. 'Little Lamb' is unique because it has larger flower heads on a smaller plant. Individual flowers are small, but there are many more of them in the inflorescence, held in tight, but delicate flower heads. The pure white blooms light up a garden and blend wonderfully with all other colors. Flowers turn pink in the Fall. Use 'Little Lamb' in bouquets, either fresh or dried, to make a unique floral design. An easy to grow plant with reliable flowering and flower color regardless of soil pH or winter temperatures. The blooms are well distributed, making a very nice plant and display. This special shrub blooms in midsummer and lasts into autumn.
