SCIRPUS cyperinus

Description: Northeast native of marshes, wet meadows and swamps. From July to Spetember, numerous little spikelets appear to be covered with wool-like hair, hence its common name. Grows readily in wet soil and full sun or light shade. Can reach up to four feet in height.
