EUPATORIUM coelestinum
|
Description: The taxonomists have been at work, and now declare this plant to be Conoclinium coelestinum . We call it “job security!” Regardless of the name, this is a lovely plant for naturalizing in meadows and along the edge of woods. The soft sky-blue to lavender flowers resemble the bedding plant ageratums, but you will only have to plant this once! Native to the Southeastern US, it likes moist soil and full sun to part shade. Plant them 1-2 feet apart.
