Description: Beautiful large bushy perennial with maple-like leaves oppositely placed on the stems. 1.5 inch waxy, deep yellow bell-shaped flowers occur in clusters or 2-4 at the ends of the stems in July and August. This plant prefers an acid soil and shady position in the garden. Adequate moisture is appreciated. Especially nice plant for woodland gardens. Native to Japan.
