PRUNUS maritima
|
Description: A rugged, attractive native shrub or small tree native to the dunes of the east coast. Early spring brings clouds of small white flowers before the leaves emerge; these later produce small, dark blue, tasty beach plums. A great ornamental with four seasons of interest.
